When I was a teenager, I lived in single family housing. Each housing had low partitions between housings, and there was a little narrow alley so that I could meEt my neighbors when I was in and out home. Usually the housings located in the same orientation had simmilar housing structure and layout so that the entry doors, in general, was facing FACED each other. and It WAS also made for neighbors to greeting EACH OTHER whenever they met. This housing arrangement seemed to help for ENCOURAGE people to build up the casual relationshipS WITH THE NEIGHBORS QUITE easily. THESE DAYS However everything has been changed after SINCE our neighborhood started building the multi-family housings. Even AS I have 10 neighbors in THE same building, I never GET TO talk to my neghbor, or I didn't get a HAVE A CHANCE change to meet them. It is really ironical. Each floor has 3 units so that I am supposed to meet them more often, but I don't know who lives in my next door. MY OPINION IS THAT THIS TYPE OF LIVING ARRANGMENT DOES NOT BODE WELL FOR A POSITIVE  It is not good, but I am somehow don;t have any relationship with my neighbors.
