내용 | Chatting on a phone In general, I do not chat on a phone, especially in case the other side is a man. Every night at 10:30 pm, I usually talk with my girlfriend. She is very talkative, and her story is mostly fun. But sometimes I wish that she would not call me at that time when I felt tired. Anyway, we talk a lot and get along with well. A few days ago, we talked about this story. I wrote a reply on her blog article about The Swan Lake we watched last weekend. And after a few minutes, her friend replied on my reply. I didn't see her before, but I happily answered to her reply. After another few minutes, the friend replied on my answer, and her comment really depressed me. I thought she was a person who is not carefulness and ill-mannered. I deleted all of my replys on my girlfriend's blog to be not to face with this kind of person. My girlfriend said that she is a person kind of a little bit out of normal. |

첨삭 내용 | In general, I do not chat on _________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1) I don't chat on the phone --> This is one of the weird times we use "the" in English. Like we say "I was listening to the radio" or "I talk on the phone every day". 2) We get along with well --> This could be "we get along well" or "we get along with each other well" 3) She is a person who is not careful and ill-mannered --> The "not" will be applied to both adjectives. So your sentence means "she is not careful and she is not ill-mannered". It's more common in English we'll put the positive adjective first (she is ill-mannered), followed by the negative (she is ill-mannered and not careful). |
