Well, in general, whenever I'd like to treat my peers, I usually invite them via the email and arrange the precise schedule for it. As a matter of fact, I guess that's the most convenient way to invite guests. However, I tend to hind hide the information about the dish I'd serve because I just want to surprise them. My most favorite dish for those friends is BBQ, since that's what I am really good at. As far as I'm concerned, all the guests I've treated talked about it as great. I know it might sometimes be a kind of flattery but I'm really proud of the fact that they usually seem to be satisfied with my cooking, though.
