It's about 5 years ago. I had a big project. The goal was to build a supercomputer that had to perform 5 TFlops. When I was doing that project, I worked with IBM Global. An American engineer also joined to that project. The supercomputer was made up of around 400 computers and many network devices. We tried to achieve 5 Tflops, but it was only 4.5 TFlops. We needed more 0.5 Tflops. IBM American engineer was logged in to that supercomputer remotely, to tune it up. As you know, there is time difference between the US and Korea. So I must wake up until the American engineer finished his tuning job. It was very hard to work day and night. Anyway around two weeks later, we failed to tune up that supercomputer. Finally, IBM added more computers to achieve 5 TFlops. This is the hardest project that I remember.
